Yellow, Just Might Be My New Favourite

Did you see this gorgeous room in the "Room Revamps" booklet in the Sunday Telegraph?
Those gorgeous rugs that are rolled up are Dash & Albert!  We've got the
Sunflower Ticking arriving in a shipment soon.
The booklet is super informative, with fabulous images and it's a eight part series -
I need all of them!
This room is so happy with it's pinks, oranges and yellows,
I'm thinking that Izzy's room could do with a makeover...

PS. that divine big cushion is covered in Annie Selke fabrics

Room Revamps is published by Reader's Digest and many of the articles are taken from their Handyman DIY magazine - I called 1300 300 030 today to seek permission to use this image but was unable to reach anyone.

Let Me Introduce the Others

Our  Other Girls
Princess Charlotte (Lottie) and Queen Elizabeth (Lizzie) are fabulous little dogs.
King Charles Cavaliers have the most beautiful nature.
Maybe, they could be the Australian Dash & Albert Rug Company dog representatives,
I'll have to ask the question!

Australian Shed Vs American Barn

Personally, it's hard to decide if I prefer a shed or a barn.  I longed for the Australian landscape and a good old Australian shearing shed while we were away (Craig's Hut was on the fridge) but there's a lot to be said about the beauty of an American barn

And then you've got the American garden sheds by Walpole Woodworkers
and they're gorgeous

This New Zealand garden shed is pretty sweet too

And the Aussie garden shed,
I'll just keep filling the garage and take a pass on the garden shed

So what would it be for you, an American barn or an Australian Shed?
What about the garden sheds, in my mind it's simple, Walpole by a mile!

French & Country - A weekend @ Hopewood

To say I had a fabulous time at Hopewood this weekend would be a very true statement.
As you know I love visual stimulation and Suzie Anderson of French & Country didn't disappoint me.
The rooms and vignettes within the rooms were all divine, the colour palettes so soothing and the bespoke upholstery on antique pieces of furniture gorgeous.
Open house at Hopewood is always a treat and a great opportunity to have coffee with friends and shop.
I actually got a bit of Christmas shopping done!
Suzie Anderson has both French & Country and Suzie Anderson Home and I'm sure if there is anything in the images that you fancy, Suzie  would be able to source it for you or find you something similiar.

Bee from Bee Bon Belle was on hand with many of her wonderful culinary delights,  plates of delicious food and wonderful coffee & yummy cakes were being served all day.
Bee made a Pistachio Brownie to die for!
Keep an eye out on her blog for the recipe, I made a request......naughty!

Thank you Suzie, for a wonderful weekend,
looking forward to the next one!

Neighbours

I've always considered myself extremely fortunate to be blessed with wonderful neighbours.
Marcia, popped in over the weekend and gave me this gorgeous bunch of flowers from her garden,
but they could have come from the most expensive florist in Sydney.
White Hellebores, Daphne, that smells wonderful & variegated leaves, it's divine!

Looking forward to the Suzie Anderson's Hopewood Open House this weekend
