This is going to be a very special weekend for children and adults alike in the Southern Highlands. With umbrellas and great attitudes we're attempting to break two world records. The Southern Highlands will be put on the map and into the Guinness Book of World Records, as we attempt to create the largest silhouette of Mary Poppins at the Bradman Oval and the largest ever umbrella dance.
After attempting these records, we'll get to watch a screening of the 1964 Disney classic Mary Poppins from 5.30pm and afterwards there will be a fireworks display. Of course it's not just Highlanders who can enjoy all this free entertainment, the more the merrier! You'll need to register at
www.shyac.org.au
Now I must go and practice the umbrella dance and start praying for fine weather. I'll pop the YouTube umbrella dance video below, so practice and I'll see you on Saturday after horse riding......
happy mothers day Sarah and thank you for spending time at my blog, hope we can catch up soon, .
