I had always loved the outdoor gas lanterns in America what were on homes in our neighbourhood but it wasn't until  we had a vacation in 

South Carolina that my heart really skipped a beat!

I have an amazing desire to be in Fort Worth.  I really feel I need a fix in one of my all time favourite stores.  "Simple Things" is full of gorgeous understated furnishing.  The store spoke to me, they stock beautiful sofas, an amazing selection of fabrics and fabulous quirky decorating piece. Yep, warm and welcoming, just how you'd want your home to be in a perfect world!

Kaffe Fassett

Kaffe has arrived for a five week stay in Australia. He will be lecturing and hosting  workshops all around the country.

Kaffe is the guru of colour and textiles.

Anyone who loves colour and textiles knows Kaffe has a unique sense of colour and an incredibly creative mind.  Everything from needlepoint, fabric, painting, mosaics, knitting 

and the use his patterns in quilts and rugs, to name a few.
